KempeBack to School Drive
Join The Kempe Foundation this summer as we collect school supplies so children can enjoy a start to school with new supplies and backpacks. You can be part of this effort to support children and families as they prepare to get back to school this summer.
Who will receive the items?
The Kempe Foundation is partnering with local businesses and individuals to make sure that children participating in the Fostering Healthy Futures (FHF) program receive the back-to-school supplies needed to thrive by delivering backpacks filled with the items requested by the public school systems where these children go to school. This includes schools located in Aurora, Colorado Springs, Denver and grand junction.
We will collect and deliver hundreds on backpacks filled with supplies through this program.

Fostering Healthy Futures (FHF) is an evidence-based mentoring and skills training program for youth with child welfare involvement or who are at risk for child welfare involvement. There are two programs under the FHF umbrella: FHF for Preteens and FHF for Teens. Both employ a positive youth development approach to reduce trauma-related behaviors and promote healthy development.
