HB26-1410 Long Appropriations Bill

CARE Network sustained with $250K appropriation

SB26-011 Search Warrants Provided to Covered Platforms

Online platforms required to comply with search warrants in 72 hours and respond 24/7 to law enforcement inquiries

HB26-1004 Continuation of Child Care Contribution Tax Credit

Extended tax credit for donations supporting child care access for low income families and in child care deserts

HB26-1058 Protections for Minors Featured in Digital Content

Civil remedies provided to protect minors in revenue-generating online content and prohibit profiting from online child sex abuse materials

SB26-050 Child Care Center Required Policy Disclosures

Child care centers required to disclose to parents that workers are mandatory reporters of abuse/neglect and whether the facility uses video recording

HB26-1075 Child Welfare Prevention Services Funding

Colorado Child Abuse Prevention Trust Fund sustained and funding stream changed to maximize funding for county child welfare prevention services

HB26-1227 Minors’ Rights in Dependency & Neglect Proceedings

Restored child’s legal right to be heard in court when they are unsafe, correcting the recent R.M.P. Colorado Supreme Court decision

HB26-1347 Federal Disability Benefits for Foster Care Youth

Protected federal disability benefits for children in foster care, prohibiting appropriation by agencies and requiring funds be used to meet the child’s needs

HB26-1260 Updates to Child Care Assistance Programs

Extended implementation dates and modified reporting requirements to support child care access and transparency

HB26-1263 Conversational Artificial Intelligence Service Operator Requirements

AI chatbot disclosures required and certain features prohibited for minor users to protect children from risks of self-harm, suicide and explicit sexual interactions
