This Thanksgiving, the Kempe Foundation would like to thank our impactful sponsors and corporate partners. We are honored to have United Energy Trading as one of our corporate partners. One of the pillars at Kempe is Engaging with Communities, which includes partnering with a network of caring community members committed to supporting professionals in the field of child abuse, neglect and trauma. Last holiday season, the Kempe Foundation partnered with toy drive lead sponsor, United Energy Trading (UET) based in Lakewood, CO. The leadership and staff at UET collected over 400 toys to brighten the holidays for students this December. Kempe thanks United Energy Trading for stepping up this year in support of children and families.
In addition to the Toy Drive, United Energy Trading was a sponsor in our Stories of Hope annual fundraiser, which was presented by Chevron. This fundraising event is the largest event of the year for the Foundation. Last year, the event highlighted stories of hope and provide a look at how Kempe’s work is improving our communities. Attendees were able to learn about the historical significance of Kempe, see the current priorities in the field of abuse and neglect, and listen to lived experience.
